The year 2023 will mark the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan with a theme of “Golden Friendship, Golden Opportunities". A strong ASEAN-Japan relationship is crucial at a time such as this when sustainable economic and social outcomes require global cooperation, not least because of the regional and global leadership roles the two parties occupy. This seminar will discuss ASEAN and Japan’s opportunity to co-create innovations that will lead to solutions to social issues and lead a sustainable economic society together, with a view to post-pandemic growth.
