Descriptions

The Ford Foundation Parallel Session at the Think-20 Summit “Green and Digital Technology Adoption in the Context of Global Value Chains”. This session is supported by the Ford Foundation, hosted by Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Indonesia in cooperation with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The session objective is to have a more comprehensive discussion on trade policy agenda and multi-perspective view on how to integrate technological and sustainability aspect of the global value chain. The session further highlights policy options for the G20 and discusses a concrete proposal for a platform that supports green and digital technology adoption through awareness raising, policy dialogue and prioritization, capacity building, and knowledge production and dissemination.
