Rocky Intan is a researcher at the Department of International Relations, Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia. His research focuses on international political economy in Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific. He has participated in research projects on maritime security in East Asia, China's Belt and Road Initiative in Indonesia, management of dispute in South China Sea, development cooperation in South-South and Triangular Cooperation, and Indonesia's possible accession to the Trans-Pacific Partnership among others.
He obtained his Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University on international economics and advanced policy analysis and his B.A. in International Relations from Pelita Harapan University on international trade.
